Structural Equation Modeling using Software
The National Workshop on “Structural Equation Modeling using Software” was organized by Department of Post Graduate Studies on June 13-14, 2015. The workshop has achieved its intended goals wonderfully by helping participants to gain, learn and apply their knowledge and skills by having hands-on-experience on advance statistical technique called Structural Equation Modeling Using Software.
The intent of workshop to train participants in applying Structural Equation Modeling technique of statistics using software and database. The workshop will provide hands on experience with Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Path Analysis, Reliability etc. through software addressing high- dimensional inference problems that are applied in present researches.
This workshop is designed to meet the specific needs of the participants and help them to acquire, enhance and enrich their knowledge towards application of Structural Equation Modeling in Researches. The workshop will be beneficial to Academicians, Researchers and Students.
The Content of Workshop Included:
- Introduction to SEM, Concepts and Important Terminology
- Introduction to statistical Software related to SEM
- Measurement Models- CFA, Reliability and Validity measures
- Model fit statistics, Re-specification of Models, Structural Models, Path Analysis
- Boot strapping, Latest trends, Limitations
Note: Registration to the Workshop is limited to maximum of 40 Participants on the first come first serve basis.
