Pacific Institute of Business Studies, PAHER University organized a webinar in association with Udaipur chapter of NIRC of Institute of Company Secretaries of India on “Overcoming Economic Complications in Present Scenario” on Wednesday 19th May 2021. CA CS Sumeet Kachhara, Chairman of Bhilwara branch of ICSI was speaker at the webinar with CS Mohit Vanawat, Chairman of Udaipur branch of ICSI, Dr. Anurag Mehta, Principal Pacific Institute of Business Studies and CS Khagesh Joshi were expert panelist at the webinar.
CS Sumeet Kachhara expressed his views on the topic and guided students that though economic conditions are difficult in this COVID 19 pandemic still there are opportunities available and one needs to identify and grab these opportunities. He said that in this tough time many hotels and restaurants change their traditional approach and used online order services to boost their business. Many hotels converted their property to COVID Care Centers or warehouses. Banking and Insurance companies have come up with new ventures and opportunities and from the point of view of investors there has been increase in the price of shares of these companies making investment in these companies a profitable venture. Pharmaceutical companies have also been a profitable option for investors and investors need to rotate their portfolio.
Prof. K K Dave, President PAHER University said that there are ample of opportunities in the field of online education and various online teaching and learning apps have come out to be a great platform for students where they could enhance and learning.
Dr Anurag Mehta said that the present time is for product development, innovation, improvisation and research. Businesses should consistently work in making their product better and they should work on supply chain management by embedding online sales and supply.
