General Instructions
FOR FOREIGN/INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
- The applicant should fill in the personal detail’s in the admission form, same as given in the School Certificate of Board / University. For e.g. his/ her name, father’s name, mother’s name etc.
- Application form should be completely filled. Any column in the form if found blank, the admission form will be rejected and the student will not be granted admission.
- Attach/Upload recent passport size photograph with light background.
- Foreign/International Students are required to produce original certificates / documents on their arrival in India.
- English is the medium of instruction in most Colleges and Departments of Pacific University. A good knowledge of English is essential for successful completion of a course of study.
- Foreign/International Student who secures provisional admission to Pacific University will be given admission confirmation letter after their arrival in Udaipur (India) with a valid Visa.
- Colleges will be allotted by Pacific Foreign/International Students Cell (PISC), Pacific University. No request for change of college, once allotted, will be entertained by the University.
- Foreign/International Students who secure provisional admission to Under-graduate / Postgraduate / M.Phil. / Certificate Programmes of Pacific University are advised to arrive in India with a valid Student Visa.
- All the disputes will be subjected to Jurisdictions of courts at Udaipur only.
FOR PhD STUDENTS
- All Foreign / International Applicants for Research Programe(Ph.D.) shall go through Ordinances and Regulations for Ph.D. Programme which provides details regarding eligibility, admission procedure etc. These Ordinances and Regulations are available on the University Website www.pacific-university.ac.in.
- PAHER University Website has a list of Faculties / Departments for Ph.D. Programme. Prior to the admission in Ph.D. Programme, applicants are advised to go through the list to decide the Faculty/ Department to which they would like to apply.
- If the applicant is employed he/she will be required to submit leave sanction letter from the employer for period of Ph.D. Research Work from the date of joining the Ph.D. Programme.
- Admission in Ph.D. Programme requires a valid Research Visa. Foreign/International Students are advised to contact the Indian High Commission/ Concerned Authorities in their home country to obtain a valid Research Visa before arriving in India.
- Foreign/International students with their national or other fellowships recognized by the University or sponsored by their employers, may be given provisional admission, followed by confirmation through due process after a stipulated period of time.
- Applicants producing Foreign University Degrees for the purpose of determination of eligibility for Admission in Ph.D. Programme will have to provide an Equivalence Certificate of the course in India issued be Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Please Note:
- Foreign/International Students are not allowed to recall their admission form after submission.
- Submission of Admission Form does not guarantee admission.
- Foreign/International Student with a valid Student Visa will only be granted admission confirmation letter. Admission will not be granted on any other irrelevant Visa.
- Provisional admission letter does not guarantee a seat in any college of Pacific University.
