The two day International Conference on "Mapping Global Changes in business, economy, society and culture" was organized on 19 – 20th January, 2018 by Faculty of Management, Pacific University.
CONFERENCE THEME: This international conference intends to serve as a platform to discuss the national & international changes in the field of business, society as will as interrelated disciplines. The world economy’s operating system is being re - written and society is transforming with monumental changes. Thus, it is crucial to map these changes and respond accordingly.

INAUGURAL SESSION
The inaugural ceremony of the conference started with saraswati vandana followed by the welcome of the chief guest, Mr. Hansraj Choudhary, President of Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Guest of Honor, Prof. Rakesh Kothari, Vice Chancellor of University of Rajasthan and Prof. B.L. Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Shekhawati University, Sikar. The ceremony commenced with the welcome address by the Dean, Faculty of Management, Prof. Mahima Birla, followed by the address by the chief guest and guests of honor. Prof. B.P. Sharma gave his presidential address, followed by the release of conference souvenir. Organizing secretary, Dr. Pallavi Mehta gave a vote of thanks.
Valediction
The valediction ceremony of the conference commenced with saraswati vandana followed by the welcome of the guests, Prof. Uttam Kinnage, Prof. & Dean, Kasauli Institute of Management, Karnataka University, Dharwad and Prof. Munish Nandwani, Principal, Corporate Advisory Group, IIM Udaipur.
Tracks of the conference
Track 01: Strategies for Reshaping Business & Economy
The track theme is Strategies for reshaping business & economy in which 16 papers were presented & 5 invited eminent speakers presented their ideas on recent global changes & framing strategies.
The Chairperson Professor Rakesh Kothari elucidated about relevant and contemporary Marketing concepts & strategies and systematic approach both nationally & internationally.
The Keynote speaker for the session Dr. M.V.S Murthy aired his views about Global business trends, corporate governance, the role of developing countries, Economic modeling of international trade et al.
Mr. P.P. Bhattacharya, the corporate chair of the session addressed on the demographic dividend, global changes & ethical issues.
The esteemed Rapporteur’s Dr. Archana Kachhara along with Dr. Spriha Jain prepared the report of the papers presented in the Technical Session 1, also 5 online papers were presented via webinar.
Track 02: Reinventing & Predicting Practices in Management
The Key Note address was given by Prof. R.S. Rai, Professor, Amity International Business School, Amity University, Noida.
The session was Chaired by Prof. Raj Kumar Mittal, Professor, School of Management Studies & Director Development, Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, Dwarka and the session was corporate chaired by Mr. Madhukar Dubey, Managing Director & Founder, Fusion Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Udaipur.
In all 80 Papers were presented in this track were presented in parallel session through online and offline mode.
Track 03: Mapping Educational & Social Changes
The Key Note address was given by Dr. Anupam Bhargava, Economist. The session was Chaired by Prof. Uttam Kinnage Prof. Karnataka University. In all 60 Papers were presented in this track.
Track 04: Redefining Cultural Transformation and Sustainability
The Key Note address was given by Prof. P. N. Mishra, Professor, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore.
The session was Chaired by Prof. S.P. Bansal, Vice-Chancellor, Indira Gandhi Haryana State University, Meerpur, Rewari. The session was Corporate Chaired by C.A. Anshul Mogra, Chairman, Udaipur Branch of CIRC, ICAI, Udaipur. In all 45 Papers were presented in this track on both the days.
