Introduction to BCA / MCA

Computer Science reflects human intelligence through all computerized functions and capabilities. Computer Science is the systematic approach towards the development, operation, maintenance and retirement of software, hardware and other related elements of computers. Computer solutions play a major role in streamlining the system operations of business across the industrial and service sector. As the dependence on computer is growing so is the demand of computer professionals. Currently, the faculty conducts three important programmes, namely BCA, MCA and Integrated BCA + MCA.

Keeping in mind the rapid growth of the IT and the software industry, all the programmes are designed to meet present-day requirements. Our programmes aim at the understanding of the basics of computing to enable the students to compete in the current global scene. The program has both theoretical and applied components. Students are trained in Systems Designing, Application, Software Development, Enterprise Resource Planning, Computer Networks, System Administration, Web Designing and Development, Database Administration, Parallel and Vector Processing, Data Mining & Warehousing, etc.

Admission Procedure

Admission in Computer Application Programmes are through University Joint Entrance Test (UJET), State & National level entrance test like RMCAAT, etc. Direct admission can be obtained on merit cum preference basis.
